video: This is original footage taken with my mobile phone while in Italy. It was my first time being there and I wanted to capture a small memory. The first 1 minute and 47 seconds the ride is from Pompeii to Naples. On one side of the train was ocean and on the other side Mt. Vesuvius. From 1.47 on the ride is Naples to Rome.
audio: I started this project with the Eletribe Sampler and moved the exported stems into Abelton 9 to finish.
There are some audio samples from the Naples train station (Stazione di Napoli Centrale) as well as on the train.

Many different influences went into this track. I wanted to convey a serious and somewhat dark tone. It starts with hard hitting drums that have a glitch component brought out by the RMX-1000. To stitch it all together a thick dark bass line.
The video that is interlaced is taken from stop motion films I made while ridding my bike in San Jose.

Electribe 2, KP3+, RMX 1000 and DDM4000
This track was recorded in December of 2015.
I had just picked up the Roland RMX 1000 and I was begining to experiment a little with the interesting details it can add to a track. I am turning down the HPF Echo effect to introduce the track
There is a nice reverb effect from the DDM4000 mixer (0.48) that builds and helps to provide a transition into the next part of the song.
I wanted enhance the mood with something fun to look at. This is my first attempt with vj software (vdmx).
